On Thursday 7th April, UK Grid hosted their inaugural Re-Connected networking event for Internet and IT professionals at the Living Room Bar on Deansgate in Manchester. The event, co-hosted by GEO Networks attracted registrations from over 100 business leaders from the Manchester region and beyond.
The aim of the Re-Connected events is to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere encouraging likeminded professionals to meet outside of the board room to bolster their contacts and generate new business opportunities and partnerships.
Following extremely positive feedback on the inaugural event, some of which is listed below, the date for the next event has immediately been announced as 7th July 2011. The venue for the next event is yet to be announced.
