MANCHESTER, U.K. — Jun. 30th, 2011 — UK Grid, one of the UK’s leading colocation providers, today announced that Matthew Edgley has joined the company's Management team as their Northern Sales Manager.
Reporting to the UK Grid Board of Directors, Edgley will be responsible for building and maintaining UK Grid’s new and installed client base throughout the Northern region via direct client relationships and a developing partner channel.

Prior to joining UK Grid, Edgley worked as Sales Manager for IFL where he was solely responsible for whole of UK sales, marketing strategy and revenue delivery, building turnover from less than 500k through to the company’s sale for more than £20million 5 years later. Edgley subsequently worked as Account Director for TelecityGroup, where he was directly responsible for revenues and client retention within their Manchester market and beyond.
Matt has also served as a security solutions sales executive for Comodo Group, and has previously held positions with Compaq, Fujitsu and Hewlett Packard. Edgley also holds a (CIM) Professional Diploma in Marketing.
